Brief
After closing our East Village studio in April 2020, we craved the social connections, exchanges, and camaraderie of pre-pandemic life. We founded Index to create opportunities for peers to share and access knowledge with one another, outside of traditional institutions, fostering community either in-person or remotely.
Solution
We designed a digital platform to support marketing and registration for programs produced by and for the creative community. In June 2023, we came full circle by opening a bigger, better, and more beautiful shared studio and event space in downtown Manhattan, designed by Nick Poe of 31. Index also supports a node in Amsterdam, virtual & IRL programming, an internet radio, an archive of resources, and peer-led courses.
